About The Show
Tuesday Night Tapes runs like a mixtape rather than a playlist. Fenna Willems builds each edition around records that normally get skipped over: B-sides, album closers, remixes that never got a single release, and tracks that are simply too long for any other slot in the week. Nothing is sequenced by chart position. It is sequenced by what sounds right after whatever just finished.
The three hours drift between genres on purpose. A dusty soul cut can sit next to a slow house track, and a seven minute krautrock piece can follow a quiet folk recording, because at two in the morning those borders stop mattering. Fenna talks between the records, not over them, usually to explain where something came from or why it never got the attention it deserved.
If you like finding music you did not know you were looking for, this is the hour for it. Tuesday Night Tapes airs every Tuesday from 00:00 to 03:00 on Network Radio.
